Matthew Jacobson is a Dallas, Texas native, father and architect. He is a registered architect in the state of Texas, where he started his professional journey with a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. He then worked for several firms gathering experience in a range of building types from high-end residential work, historic preservation, multi-family housing, and commercial work before diving in boot first and realizing his dream of starting his own firm.
Since blazing his own trail he has worked on new home builds, smart renovations and strategic additions. He enjoys helping people age in place and has honed his skills reimagining spaces for the elderly or disabled so they can continue to live in comfort of their own home.
In addition to building a business, he co-hosts a podcast called Architecture Geeks, where he explores the ins and outs of design with his fellow architect, friend and mentor Larry Paschall.
He is also a dedicated husband and father of fraternal twins (one boy and one girl). When not working on architectual projects, he enjoys gardening, 3D printing, creating architectural models from drones, and training dogs for scent work and obstacle courses.
