Tenant improvement, office space planning, new construction, historic preservation, and adaptive re-use. We work with developers to imagine new spaces wherever needed.
Mixed use spaces - A balance can be reached between functionality, aesthetics and comfort in a multi-use space. Thoughtful integration of design elements can enhance both productivity and relaxation, making the space a dynamic environment to work and socialize in.
Restaurant design -As a restaurant architect we design with beauty, functionality and safety in mind to create environments that align with a restaurant’s mission while supporting day-to-day operations.
Philanthropic build-outs - We enjoy projects with a social, humanitarian or community-focused purpose. We are well-versed on architecture aimed at improving the lives of underserved communities, addressing social issues, or supporting charitable organizations.
Continental Gin Building
Matthew Jacobson - Adding Architecture Truett Roberts - TKTR Architects
We transformed the what was once the largest manufacturer of cotton gins in the world to a mixed-use building with flex work/office space, restaurants, a coffee shop, open green space and abundant surface parking. Making it shine as a true neighborhood destination. Built in 1888, The Continental Gin is a historic landmark in Deep Ellum.
Off the Cuff Restaurant
Matthew Jacobson - Adding Architecture
Off the Cuff is a restaurant and sports bar in Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX. Located in a historic building we transformed it into a modern, light-filled sports bar and restaurant. Keeping in tune with the surrounding area, we kept the exterior true to the original look.
The Salvation Army
Matthew Jacobson - Adding Architecture
The Salvation Army provides a wide range of services aimed at supporting individuals in need, regardless of their background or beliefs. They have a donation spot in Dallas that gets thousands of drop-off a year. They wanted a friendly and recognizable area for people to make donations.
